How hostli uses AI

hostli may include AI-assisted features that help users work through hosting records more easily. These features may help answer help questions, summarize activity, explain records that need attention, extract details from receipts or documents, or draft plain-language insights from data already stored in the customer account.

Human Review

AI output is meant to assist, not replace, user judgment. Users are responsible for reviewing AI-generated summaries, extracted details, recommendations, categories, calculations, reports, statements, and tax-related information before relying on them.

No Professional Advice

AI features do not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, insurance, or real estate advice. hostli may help organize information for review, but customers should consult qualified professionals for decisions that require professional judgment.

Data Used by AI Features

When a user chooses to use an AI feature, hostli may send relevant account context, screen context, document text, receipt details, reservation data, expense data, tax data, or support questions to an AI service provider so the feature can respond. We aim to send only the information reasonably needed for the requested feature.

Sensitive Information

Users should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information into AI prompts, notes, document names, or support messages. Do not intentionally submit government identification numbers, full payment card numbers, passwords, personal health information, or other sensitive details unless the feature specifically requires it and hostli has clearly requested it.

Accuracy and Limitations

AI can be helpful, but it can also misunderstand records, miss context, produce incomplete answers, or make mistakes. hostli may display confidence, review states, or reminders where appropriate, but users should verify important information against source records.

Security and Access Controls

AI features follow the same general account and role structure as the rest of hostli. Users should only receive AI help based on information they are allowed to access. Super Admin support tools and audit logs may be used to monitor sensitive activity.

Service Providers

hostli may use third-party AI providers to deliver AI features. Those providers process information as service providers for the requested feature. hostli may change providers or feature behavior as the product evolves.

Opt-Out and Controls

Some AI features may be controlled by plan, module settings, admin permissions, or organization preferences. Customers who do not want to use AI-assisted features can choose not to activate or use those workflows, and may contact support with questions.

Changes

We may update this AI Policy as hostli adds, removes, or changes AI-assisted features.
